Viewing announced for CWMF 2007

The viewing for the films of the 2nd annual College Weekend Movie Festival has been announced!

Come and celebrate with the teams who completed their movies for the 2nd annual College Weekend Movie Festival.
Teams from Brown Mackie College, Cincinnati State, Northern Kentucky University, Ohio Center for Broadcast, University of Cincinnati, and Xavier University all submitted six minute short films.

2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Tickets::
Tickets can be ordered in advance (General Seating) by calling the Carnegie or walk-ups are welcome. Call The Carnegie box office at 859-957-1940.

Viewing of the films will take place in two viewing blocks.
Single block ticket $6.00
Both block tickets $8.00

Viewing Blocks:
Teams will not appear in this order.

Judges:
Three industry professionals will critique within their specialty after we watch each story.

CWMF 2007 is complete!

Congratulations to all teams who participated in the second annual College Weekend Movie Festival!

All movies included these elements in their script:

Character: The Honorable Mark Hill, Beauty Pageant Judge

Prop: Candy Bar

Line 1: "You didn't just say that."

Line 2: "You've been selected to receive a free satellite system."

Question (delivered by Mark Hill): "How many fingers am I holding up?"

2007 Festival Announced

The College Weekend Movie Festival has been officially announced for 2007! Participants, roll up your sleeves and get ready for another marathon of movie production!

The 2007 CWMF will take place March 20-25, 2007.

Update!

The Festival Kickoff will be held Tuesday, March 20th at 10:30 PM at the 20th Century Theater! Students not in class on this Tuesday night are invited to arrive early for the SOFA meeting and meet some industry professionals!

The Drop-off event for the movie festival will be held Sunday, March 25th between 3 & 5 pm on Fountain Square, located at the corner of 5th & Vine streets in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio!
